When you donate to Energy Share, you are truly helping a neighbor stay warm.

Energy Share of Montana is a private nonprofit corporation. Donations to Energy Share are tax-deductible and your gift is used first in your area.

Every November utility companies and electric cooperatives include Energy Share Donation envelopes or pledge cards in their bills, or in the ‘Rural Montana’ magazine for electric cooperative members.

A comprehensive report on Energy Share of Montana’s activities throughout the preceding year is available in our annual report. The report is intended to give interested people information about the company’s activities and financial performance.

2. Sponsor a Family – the average assistance for an Energy Share household is $570.  Consider donating $142.50 (one-quarter), $285 (one-half), $427.50 (three-quarters) or $570 (full sponsorship).

3. Want to help a little but don’t have a chunk of change?  Set up a recurring donation via Paypal!  A little bit on a regular basis adds up over time.

4. Contact your energy provider to see if they will forward your donation to Energy Share when you add a gift as you pay your bill.  Many already have a check box to mark if you want to donate to Energy Share when you pay your bill.
